Samsung has announced the latest version of its Family Hub smart fridge which now includes the Bixby personal assistant. Samsung’s excellent family hub offers a wide range of smart features that allow you to do what you could not do before. The Samsung Family Hub 4.0 version is even smarter than the previous model, packing in Bixby smart things to make your time in and out of the kitchen more enjoyable. It will act as a smart display, you can summon a Morning Brief which will read out the latest news, calendar entries, and weather with on-screen content.
In 2018, company added Bixby’s full capabilities to its Family Hub smart refrigerator. And now Bixby has been upgraded with voice commands to be more casual and interactive by including more natural languages. Bixby’s voice ID talents will identify individual voices, so will personalize answers depending on who asks.
The Samsung Family Hub 4.0 version is a considerable update from a smart home perspective too. It has the ability to connect to the SmartThings such as smart lights, cameras, thermostats and much more. You will be able to control the smart home gadgets directly from the screen, as well as using the Bixby voice commands.
The new version comes with a feature called the Personalized Family Board which acts as a digital bulletin board everyone can use. It will let you add and customize your activities and interests accordingly. Samsung also redesigned the home screen display of its smart refrigerator to be more functional and easy to use. You will have a devoted screen to share messages, photos, and memories on their fridge. You will be able to customize your photos with different photo styles, add handwritten notes and stickers, and even change the background color to match your kitchen.
Also, it will troubleshoot issues and notify you by the SmartThings application. It will provide you a user-friendly interface to use that build on previous generations’ app improvements.
