  • To setup amped range extender follow these steps:-
    >Plugin the amped range extender near to your home router for the initial setup.
    *If you made any change on the extender or on the router before, then reset the extender by pressing reset button for at least 30 seconds.
    >Connect any of your wireless device with amped wireless network.
    >Open any browser and in the address bar type http://192.168.1.240 or http://setup.ampedwireless.com
    >Now you will see the SCAN button on the page, click on it and after that it will scan the wireless networks nearby to it.
    >From the list select network that you want to extend and then enter the password for same.
    >In the next step if you want you can change the name of extended network and password of your choice that you want for it.
    >Now save the settings and range extender will reboot after saving the settings.
    >Once extender lights get solid connect your devices to the extended network and try to go online so that we can check that extender setup done successfully.

  • >First of all, Turn On your amped extender
    > Now connect your computer with amped extender's wifi network
    (if its not showing you the extender's wifi network then you have to press and hold the reset button for at least 30 seconds and then release it and wait for the lights to get stable and then try it again)
    > once you are connected to amped extender's network
    > then open your web browser and type this address:- 192.168.1.240 or https://setup.ampedwireless.com
    > now it will take you to dashboard of the amped extender
    > Click on Scan button and select your home network that you want to extend
    > after that enter the same wifi password that you were using for that network
    > In the next step, you have to create a name for your extended network and save the settings
    > After that your extender is going to reboot automatically and then you can connect your wireless devices to the extended network.
