Turn on your Tplink Extender . Connect your computer or smartphone with the extender’s network. Open your web browser and type this address 192.168.0.254. It will take you to the setup page, create your login information. Now it will scan for the available wifi networks, select your main router’s network. Then enter the wifi password and hit next. On the next page, it will scan for the 5g, select your router’s 5g band and then enter the wifi password again(if you don’t have 5g band on your main router then you can select “I don’t need a second network” and hit next. Now create your wifi information for the Tplink extender and hit next again.

You can follow these steps to set up your Tplink Range Extender:-
- Plugin Tplink range extender into the wall socket nearby to your home router for the initial setup.
- Press the WPS button on your home router and hold it down for 3-5 seconds.
- Within 1-minute press the WPS button on your range extender.
- Wait for the extender lights to get stable and now try to connect any of your wireless devices with the extended network.

To connect your TP link re 355 Extender you need to connect your extender from the power outlet .
Press the WPS button on your extender and then at the same time on your router.
Now you need to open the default TP link re 355 Extender ip I.e 192.168.1.254
Login to the extender page with username and password as “admin”
Then set up the internet connection there and configure all the settings from your router
Once configured your extender will reboot once and it is ready to go
Connect all the devices now on the extended network

To set up your extender –
1.Plug in the extender in the wall outlet.

In order to configure the range extender you need to follow the instructions below:
> plug in your extender near to the router for the initial setup within 10 feets
> Press the WPS button on the router for 3 -4 seconds and then on the Extender for 3- 4 Seconds
> Once you see the light stopped flashing on the extender it means the extender is setup now
