  • I believe the Netgear WNR6400v10 is a different model you are trying explain .Version 10 only came with Netgear Series .So as I assume its Netgear WGR-614 version10.

To setup this router you need to connect your router (WAN port) to Modem (LAN port) .
Once its connected hook another cat5 cable from netgear lan port to computer .
Open you browser type routerlogin.net but i will suggest you to try with ip address as this router uses old interface genie .

    To check your Router IP-
    Press WINDOW key+Letter R on keyboard >
    Run Command will prompt >
    Type cmd then press OK>
In black screen type IPCONFIG Then press enter>
    Check The default gateway.

Open your browser and Type that IP address and hit enter or you can also use the login address 192 168 0 1 router login.
Select setup wizard it will help you To set it up the router .

  • I think you are talking about WGR614 V10 because there is no router by this model nunmber that you have provided.
    To setup WGR614 V10 –

1.First connect a ethernet cable from the Internet service providers modem to the wan port of the router.
2.Then next step is to connect a new ethernet cable from the routers number 1 port to the computer.
3.Then you need to open the website which is routerlogin.net it will ask you for your login details.
4.For username type and for the password type .
5.Now you will be able to change any settings on the router or view internet connection settings.
