How to setup my dlink dir859?
To setup my dlink dir859, first plug in the router to the power. Now connect the router to the modem using an ethernet cable (cable should be connected on the internet port of the router).Now connect the computer with the router's network. Open 192.168.0.1 on the browser. You will see the setup wizard. Follow the instructions to complete the setup process.
- Turn ON your Dlink Router
- Connect and Ethernet cable between your modem and the Dlink router(make sure that cable should be connected to the Internet port of the Dlink router)
- Now connect your computer with the Dlink router's network
- Open your browser and type this address:- 192.168.0.1
- It will take you to the Setup page
- Now follow the instructions on the screen and complete the setup process.
plug in the extender into the wall socket and then plug the ethernet cable coming from the modem into the dlink and then with the other cable make a connection between a computer or laptop and the dlink
now open the browser and type the IP address into the long address bar of your browser, it will take you to the setup page
complete the instructions and then set up the wireless password and save the settings.
now your dlink is ready to work.
TO SETUP YOUR D LINK DIR 859 YOU NEED TO FOLLOW THESE STEPS:
Just connect ethernet cable from your modem to router wan port then connect one ethernet from lan port to computer.
Open your browser type this IP address 192.168.0.1/192.168.100.1.
It will give you the setup wizard then try login with blank password .
There we go you can choose manual or easy wizard for setup.Try going with easy.
TO SETUP YOUR D LINK DIR 859 YOU NEED TO FOLLOW THESE STEPS:
1.PLUG IN YOUR D LINK DIR 859 DIRECTLY INTO WALL SOCKET.(DO NOT USE EXTENSIONS/SURGE PROTECTOR)
2.PLUG IN A ETHERNET CABLE FROM YOUR MODEM TO YOUR ROUTER(INTERNET PORT).
3.CONNECT A CABLE FROM PORT NUMBER 4 OF YOUR ROUTER TO YOUR COMPUTER.
4.PRESS WINDOWS KEY + R,OPEN CMD .
5.CHECK YOUR NETWORK STATISTICS.
6. OPEN YOUR DEFAULT GATEWAY IN ANY BROWSER.
7. IT WILL ASK FOR YOUR PASSWORD LEAVE IT BLANK.
8. FOLLOW ALL THE STEPS OF WIZARD AND YOU ARE GOOD TO GO NOW.
IN CASE PROBLEM STILL PERSISTS YOU CAN RESET YOUR DEVICE ONCE.
Like in my old post I have mentioned dlink are the most easiest router to setup and the setup wizard interface is very feasible.
