If the HP printer which is not communicating with my asus ac5300 and if it's giving you disconnection as well on other devices , we can try restarting the printer. We can also try providing static IP address to the printer. If still the problem persists then try resetting the network settings and reconfigure it again with the router.

Better to contact router login support team for the remote access services so you can receive the professional setup for the printer setup.
I will suggest you to reset the Asus ac5300 router. For that, grab a paper clip and hold it in the rest hole at the back of the router for 25 seconds after that you will notice the power light of the Asus ac5300 router is back to orange. Wait for 1 minute it will turn green then connect your devices and enjoy happy networking.
Try changing your Asus ac5300 router channel. Change it to channel 11 , 6 or 1 . Once you’re done with that see if there is any firmware upgrade for your router. Then reset your printer settings on printer .Try connecting it again through wireless setup wizard, hard wire or wi-fi protected setup.
