In this case, you can either reset the router to factory default and then reconfigure the router or you can connect an ethernet cable from your router to the computer and then log on to 192.168.1.1 or https://www.linksyssmartwifi.com. the default password for the router access is an admin.
got to the wireless settings and put the new password in and save the settings and reboot the router.
