I have TP-Link ArcherC50 The Internet light is Orange (red) , but I have Internet works good ,and WiFi works good . The problem is , the router was plugged in in a SURGE PROTECTED extension cord .I turned “OFF” everything (router , modem ,and computer ) , plugged only the router direct to outlet , (NO SURGE PROTECTED) , 1st turn “ON” the modem wait until all lights are stable “ON” , 2nd Turn “ON” the router , wait until all lights are stable “ON” , 3rd Turn “ON” the Computer . The routers internet light changed from Red to Green , but the modem’s internet light went “OFF”.
