  • As you have mentioned that your Kindle is not connecting wirelessly there are certain things you need to check :-
    1. Wireless connectivity should be enabled on your kindle.
    2. You need to check channel frequency as well it should be in between 1-11.
    3. You need to power cycle your devices like modem, router as well as your kindle .
Turn off all the devices and wait for at least 1 minute and then restart your devices
And try to connect to your network.
    4. Kindly check your router settings as well.
    5. Upgrade the firmware as well of your router that can be a reason.
If problem still persists you can reset your kindle by following these steps:-
    1. Make sure the kindle is turned on.
    2. Press the power button for at least 20 seconds.
    3. Wait for it to reboot – wait a minute or two.
    4. Your kindle should be back to a responsive state.
    5. You will have to go through the setup again and then synchronize to put your e-books and other data back on the device.

  • 1.Wi-Fi problems with the Kindle Fire can sometimes be solved by simply going to your Fire settings, turning airplane mode on, then off – the device may then re-connect automatically.
2.More involved but almost a sure solution: Restart the router – unplug it for a few minutes, plug it back in and it will reboot. Restart the Fire – press and hold the power button for a minute. Wait 30 seconds. Now press the power button again. Tap on wireless, tap on your network and click ‘forget’, enter password – FOR THE ROUTER – you will find this passcode on the bottom of the router. It is the SSID code, likely to be a mixture of characters.
3.The Kindle Fire WiFi authentication problem may be caused by using the password not the authentication key. Putting in the Wireless Key digits that are on the bottom of your router instead of your password can solve the issue.
4.“Authentication failed” may be caused by too many routers using the same channel – the channel may be swamped by those other routers on the same channel. Or by too many devices on the same channel – the router may automatically switch to a less congested channel. After switching channels a couple of times and finding a stable one the problem should be solved. If it’s on auto, try changing the router portdl from auto to channel 6 to 11.
5.Kindle Fire Wi-Fi issues can sometimes be solved by changing the wifi configuration from b/g/n to only g.

BEST TIP:Go to wireless settings and click on “Forget this network” and after that try to connect to your Wireless network again and that will solve the problem.
