I have the Linksys RE6400 extender and need to reset the password.

If you wish to reset the range extender’s administrator password, follow the steps given below:
- Firstly, access the web interface of the Linksys RE6400 extender.
- Then, you can choose the Management option under the Administration
- Fill in the preferred password for the extender and then just re-enter the password.
- Then, click on Save.
In case you forget the login password which you customized for your Linksys RE6400 extender, you need to perform the reset process in that case. To perform the reset process, just press the reset button and keep holding it for like 10 seconds. With this, the range extender is set to factory defaults.
