How do i set up my roku 3 on my netgear router .

  • To connect your Roku with Netgear router you need to follow these steps:-
    1.Plug the HDMI cord into the TV,Older TV’s will have a component or composite connection
    instead of HDMI.
    2.Insert batteries into the remote.
    3.Plug the power adapter into the wall outlet.
    4.Plug the other end of the adapter into Roku.
    5.Make sure that your TV is off as you connect the Roku player.
    6.Turn on your TV and change to the input you connected the Roku to.
    7.After plugging in Roku, a message will appear that states: Roku – Starting, please wait
    Roku – Launching home screen Welcome to the Roku player.
    8.Connect to Wi-Fi. This is done by clicking on your network that you use for other wireless devices
    and entering your password, your roku Automatically scan the wireless networks at your place
    you just need to select your network name and connect to it.
    9.Wait for Roku to install its software. It will automatically download and install the latest
    version.after update roku will automatically reboot.
    10.Enter your information. This is done once the Roku reboots after installing its software. click on
    done after that Doing so will prompt a code that you can enter at http://www.roku.com/link to sync
    your account with device.

  • To setup you Roku you need a HDMI cable .It doesn’t come with the box.You need to purchase it separately .

    1.Connect HDMI from Roku to your Tv and plug the power in your roku.
    2.On your TV use input mode as HDMI.
    3.Roku screen will appear .If you are setting this for the first time setup screen will appear.
    4.Select the language first and hit ok .
    5.Network selection screen will appear choose wireless .You can also use wired connection for that you need to connect an ethernet cable from your router to roku.
    6.Once you choose wireless network screen will appear choose you network .
    7.Put in your password and hit return .
    8.Your roku is setup now with wireless.

  • Get an HDMI cable
    Use the HDMI cable to connect the Roku 3 to your TV.
    Connect the Roku 3 to a power source.
    Set your TV to its HDMI display.
    Select the language you want the text to display.
    Press “OK” when prompted to continue to set up your network.
    Either you can use a ethernet cable or you can connect it to the wireless network.
    After this you have to set up your roku account from https;//www.roku.com and enter all other details also.
    Now your roku will give you one link code which you have to enter in the link roku box.
    After this your roku will go ahead and install the free channels for you.
    Now your roku set up is completed and you can access it.
