• Steps You need to follow-
  1.Make sure you are connected with linksys network .(Hard wire or wirelessly)
  2.Open your browser and look router’s IP .
  For IP-
  -On search type cmd and open command prompt > Type in cmd “ipconfig” enter>Default gateway will be your IP.
  3.Open your browser and type the IP and enter.
  4.Go to setup tab>Wireless > Wireless security .
  5.Enable security and choose security type-WPA2-Personal .
  6.Enter your password and hit save settings.

• To change the guest access password of your linksys e1700 router you need to follow these steps:-
  1. Press windows + R key that will open run window for you.
  2. Type CMD in the run box.
  3. Open Ipconfig and check network statistics.
  4. Open your default gateway in any browser.
  5. Type your user name and password .
  6. now you are on router main page .
  7. The Guest network Password is located under the Password section of the Guest access settings
  window.
  8. In the Guest access settings window, click Change.
  9. Enter your preferred password then click Change to save it

  Connect your computer with router
  Press windows + R key that will open run window for you.
  Type CMD in the run box and click ok.
  Type ipconfig in black cmd window and check for default ip address
  Launch internet browser using interface default ip
  Type your username and password \
  Now you are on router page
  Go to guest access and change the password
  Click apply
  Router will save the settings
