How to disable the WiFi of my Xfinity router ?

To disable the WiFi of my Xfinity router , first connect the device with the router's network with an ethernet cable.Open 10.0.0.1 on the browser.Once you are see the admin page , enter the credentials.Once you are logged in,then goto gateway > connection > goto wifi . You will seeย  wifi network there. Click on the network , you will see disable if wifi is connected. To disable click on it and then click on disable . It will be disabled.

In such case you need to connect your device with the router with an Ethernet cable.

Now you need to open any browser and type at the very top of the screen 10.0.0.1

Click on the Gateway>Connection>WiFi

Now you need to click on the network now you see the enable and disable option over there and click on disable

After changing settings click on the save option

Steps you need to follow:

  • First, connect your device with the Router with an ethernet cable.
  • Now open any browser & type 10.0.0.1 in the address bar.
  • Click on the Gateway>Connection>WiFi.
  • Now you will see the Network name.
  • Click on the network, now you will have the enable and disable option for the Wireless network.
  • After making the changes click on the save settings.
